The visual identity of Dots has been designed with their target audience firmly in mind. From the muted colour palette, rounded and easy to ready typeface and simplistic composition on the packaging, the design ensures the consumer is not overwhelmed with information.

The typeface was chosen due to its friendly and approachable feel and there is a continuous use of of a graphic line and circle element, symbolising the brand ethos of taking small steps to get to the big moments.

Research shows that certain foods have the ability to reduce anxiety; dark chocolate, certain fruits and yoghurt all do this. The snacks are also specifically designed to be bitesize and ‘melt in the mouth’, meaning individuals don’t have to chew them much.
